This photo from the rear of the
plane shows the elevator and trim
tab. There is no tail wheel at this
time. The rudder is completed but
not installed.
Proud new owner. I bought this
KR-2 off E-Bay. It was delivered to
me from Ohio, and these photos
will show the condition and what
came with it.
The header tank and turtle deck
are not installed, they are just
sitting in place for the picture.
This photo shows some of the
things I received with the KR. You
can see the rudder, engine
cowling, panels for the stub
wings, wing tips, and canopy.
Some things you can't see very
clearly are the outer wing spars
behind the cowling and wing tips.
Also the flap lever brake calipers
and disks and torque tube for the
flaps.
This picture of the tail section
shows some damage to the
horizontal stabilizer. The leading
edge has been cut off and also
some lamination separation on
the right side.
The aileron control cables and
bellcrank are installed as well as
the wing attachment fittings.
A good view of the spars, landing
gear and wing attachment fittings.
