This picture appeared on the
front page of the November 12,
1969 edition of the Johnson City
Press-Chronicle newspaper. On
the right is my dad, John V.
Cooper who at the time was an
employee of the Pet Milk
Company and a union steward.
Daddy was not a violent man,
but he was firm, even tempered
and level headed. I believe this
was the reason that union
members elected him to
represent them as their steward.
